Prof. Dr. Boris Bonev has been General Manager of the most important Bulgarian space
projects such as the Shipka project (which includes the flight
of the second Bulgarian cosmonaut and the accompanying scientific program), the Phobos
international space project, the Neurolab-B project and others.
He has been the supervisor of ten graduate students and more than forty master students.
The works of Prof. Bonev include more than 250 scientific papers in the field of aerodynamics,
aircraft and aerospace technologies.
Prof. Bonev is married and has three children and four grandchildren.
